Michigan Bridge Ministry
Michigan Bridge Ministry is a Christian organization dedicated to supporting missionaries and the projects with which they are involved. Our Goal is to do what we can to help unify the body of Christ in all parts of the world. Our mission partners are both overseas and domestic.

It is our desire to be able to bridge the gaps of distance, language, culture, and doctrine by supporting disciples who spread the Word of God and share the Love of Jesus Christ around the world.

Greetings!  COG - WM logo
We are on our way back to the States. We fly out of Budapest on June 5th. We will be returning to Michigan for the summer, and then only God knows where we will go next. We will be taking one full year to visit churches and raise support in the USA. Our goal is to raise enough to be able to return to Ukraine for three years, uninterrupted.  We will continue to be actively involved with the Roma church, Homeless in Hungary, & CSPCU. Over the last three years our schedule has been a few months in Michigan, and a few months in Ukraine. It seems that just as the ministry begins to gain momentum, we need to return to USA because of funding. We have prayed about this, and discussed this decision with many people whom we look to for counsel, and it is unanimous. God has given us a huge, bold vision to build a Christian crisis counseling / training center here in Uzhgorod. There are a number of people here who agree with the need for such a center. Now we just need to get the word out and get enough support to build a facility, hire a staff, and get materials. Continue to pray for this vision and keep reading the newsletters to hear the testimonies of how God is working here in Ukraine.

The Floor has been poured...
Roma Church

It is amazing how quickly God answered our prayer. I was at the soup kitchen in Radvanka on Wednesday, and the people in the back rows were literally falling through the floor during church. The floor had old rotten wood covered by torn linoleum. As people were singing and praising, the floor was giving way. This had been a problem for some time, but this week was to be the last. On Thursday, the men from the church tore up the floor and removed all of the wood. The smell of mold and rot was awful. None of it could be saved. They brought in stones and sand to fill the void and prayed for a new floor. On Friday, we measured and made a list of materials needed to pour a new concrete floor for the sanctuary. On Saturday I called home to Pastor Arp and told him our need. On Sunday he placed a special offering box at the alter and told everyone that every dollar placed in the dollar box will be used to buy the sand, gravel, wood, and cement needed for a new floor.

Pouring a floor

Praise the Lord, on Sunday night; I received a call asking me how quickly we needed the funds. I said as soon as possible. He said, "Well we took in more than was needed!" On Monday we mixed and poured, and  on Wednesday, the soup kitchen worship service was held on the new floor! Praise the Lord! Thank you to all at Family of Faith Ministries in Charlevoix, Michigan who helped to meet this need.
