Backpacks for Homeless

CCTI is coming to Uzhgorod, Ukraine in April of 2009
Working With Children in Crisis

The time is getting closer for the CCTI Conference in Ukraine and we have new prayer concerns. We have received word that Dr. Kilbourn will not be able to lead this year's seminar. She had suffered a minor stroke and thanks to God she is recovering wonderfully! Please pray for her continued healing. The Conference is still going to happen and we are excited to welcome two of her distinguished colleagues, Mary Beth Young and Rosemary Sabatino. Mary Beth has a Masters in Social work & has worked with children for the past 25 years. She is expertly qualified to teach this course and we are very excited to have her.

We need to ask you all for a little extra help. There are many local orphan and street children workers here who need to be able to attend this conference. The registration fee is $45 per person. Please consider sponsoring a local worker. Help them to get the training that will empower them to be able to change lives. They will be better equipped to provide Christian counsel to provide healing and hope to those in need. We need about $2645 more to be able to fill the room with participants. Click here, write "scholarship" as "participant's name" and press "add to cart".

Homeless in Hungary Project 2009

"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me..." Mt 25. 35-36

Packing Bags

We are now up to 86 bags! Just imagine how this will impact the lives of someone who is hungry, sleeping on the street, and needing hope. We will be going to the street to personally hand the bag to the people, pray with them, and invite them indoors for a hot meal, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed. Please keep them in your prayers.

We are still accepting donations to sponsor bags and to help with last minute expenses.
